We're streaming the new Bo Ningen double A side 7" from our shop page until Halloween, have a listen!
Video for My Sad Captains 'Orienteers' taken from their new album 'Fight Less, Win More' out on the 7th of November, available for preorder now.
Its been a hard few days...after the burning out of our post office on Tottenham High Road, such an important hub for our local community and where we've done our mail order from for years, the Sony/ PIAS warehouse in Enfield was destroyed by fire, along with much of our stock.
Fortunately we haven't been totally wiped out, you can still buy some physical products from us, we also have everything available digitally in our shop, many of our limited editions are now (sadly) much rarer than before.
There have been nearly 200 labels affected, many of them friends, below is the official list published by PIAS:
http://www.pias.com/uk/pias-distributed-labels-list/
Thank you so much to everyone who's sent their love and support and thanks especially to PIAS who have been working hard and fast to sort this out for all of us.

We are happy to announce we will be releasing JEFF The Brotherhood 'We Are The Champions' in the UK, following on from their brilliant 'Heavy Days' earlier in the year.
The Nashville brothers, Jake and Jamin, reach new lows of drawling sweetness and fuzz punk-pop blow outs on this self produced album, recorded by Roger Moutenot ( Yo La Tengo, Sleater Kinney, Velvet Underground) and with fans from Jack White, making them album of the month on Third Man and Jay-Z tweeting combined with their relenteless 230 shows a year touring schedule we’re thinking their UK/EU tour should be fun.
The brothers grew up, Jake says, "with 500 acres of nothing behind us," and the isolation has paid off. This band sound like a fusion of everything and completely their own.
Release date: 26th Sept
Pre-order here
Tour dates TBA...
Directed by Lina Plioplyte (www.teenagepeanut.com)
"their songs are often just a couple of chords and high speed. But the brothers have acid on the brain, stirring harmonized distortion and sitar buzz into the boogie. And they back up the balls of this album title...... "Mellow Out" is fast bliss."ROLLING STONE
"Their pared-down arrangements and bluesy riffs recall AC/DC's Young brothers and their fun-loving zeal is akin to honorary bros the Ramones. But the secret weapon on their second album is an unironic embrace of the elegant, harmony-rich hooks and wide-eyed lyrics of rock forebears the Righteous Brothers, which gives the Orralls' blistering tunes their own earnest, romantic edge."SPIN
'Big and heavy but still quick on its feet....The tune's aw-shucks silliness is as charming as its earworm of a melody is inescapable.' PITCHFORK
"the sweet spot between punk and hard rock." SPIN

My Sad Captains return to the fray with a new song available as a free download in conjunction with Saatchi Online and featuring exclusive new artwork by the band.
The dreamy kraut-folk of the ‘The Homefront Pt II’ eschews the more traditional, pop song structures of their debut album, gradually building as sounds and melodies weave in and out of an uninterrupted, motorik groove. The band decamped to an isolated barn in Cornwall to record the new material, which was mixed by Tape Op magazine founder Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Stephen Malkmus, Quasi) at Jackpot! in Portland, OR.
The artwork is by MSC guitarist Nick Goss, who is a painter and previously exhibited in ‘Newspeak’ at the Saatchi Gallery. The band will host an evening of live performances at the Saatchi Gallery later this summer, as part of an ongoing series of gigs in art spaces. Having previously played at the Josh Lilley Gallery, the band will play ‘Primitive Accumulation’ at the Fold Gallery in London Fields on May 30th, a show curated by Captains bassist Dan Davis that also features Goss. They will also perform at the opening of Richard T Walker’s show at Spike Island, Bristol in July.
The song is now released digitally after initially only being available on ‘Stolen 6’, our Record Store Day compilation.

Heres some reviews:
Sunday Times 'The hottest downloads'
'The Reading band return with a slice of quirky synth-led minimalism'
The Guardian Guide
'Singer Tom Sanders's vocals are loaded with charm- no America accent for him, you can practically smell the Thames on every word- the music is intricately surreal, while the song itself is a winning celebration of booze-based time wasting. Cheers.'
Time Out
If Pete And The Pirates 'Come On Feet' and 'Knots' didn't put a fizz back in your veins, theres a good chance that you're not mortal. Here the Reading band revive their ruffled, warm-hearted indie pop with a fibulator-like touch, applying Toytown synths to a song that sounds like late '70s Bowie playing the Barfly. The B-side is just as good.
Artrocker 4 stars
'On evidence Pete And The Pirates in 2011 are in pretty good shape, raising the curtain with Devo-style robocool then repeating the hugely catchy chorus until it swirls down the plughole in a wave of psychedelia. Welcome back, me hearties!'
Zane Lowe's 'hottest record' BBC1 (19th January)

Let's Wrestle – 'I'm In Fighting Mode' (Stolen)
"I always win," states Let's Wrestle
frontman (and genuinely brilliant lyricist) WPG here, and anyone who's
been charmed by the London trio in recent months would find it hard to
argue otherwise – scrappy, rough-edged, utterly charming and wholly
beguiling, Let's Wrestle are three kids making the absolute most of a
relative modicum of musical know-how. "I'll sing the songs of truth… I'll teach YOU a lesson"… and if that's the case any hater had better not mess with the threesome, as their signature track 'Let's Wrestle' features on the flip: "Let's wrestle… let's FUCKING wrestle…"
is the sing-along, prior to violent nonsense about biting off mouths
and fingers and noses. Get my t-shirt off and get in the mud? Sure
thing.- Mike Diver
Let's Wrestle release their theme tune 'Let's Wrestle' and 'I'm In Fighting Mode' double A side on Glorious gold vinyl!
To celebrate we will be launching this release at The Old Blur Last on Tuesday The 8th of July along with the world premier of 'Death Of The Blue Ninja'' a film directed by Ben Ransley starring Let's Wrestle.

Hello, we haven't been updating recently because we are in the process of getting a brand new, ultra efficient website built, and we have also been extra busy with Pete and the Pirates Debut Album 'Little Death' and Let's Wrestles Debut EP 'In loving memory of...' both have had great reviews, which at the moment you can find on our myspace....we should have the new site up real soon....
'Crashing about like Mark E Smith in the Sainsbury's booze aisle, it lasts a sweet 2 minutes 42 seconds; leaving you wanting more....North Londoners Let's Wrestle are a charming, funny and utterly real trio.
