Last Night - Candy

"the first track 'on your face' is like a more fuzzed and blissed out slowdive whilst 'black and white' has the same calm and tenderness as low. a beautiful record from start to finish that deserves a place in your heart and record collection."
Rough Trade

The nu-gaze revolution steamrollers on in the form of these east london fuzz-goth lovlies.
NME

Atmospheric, Cello endorsed glitch filled beauty. Not far from some elements of Sigur Ros.
Pure Groove

Candy whose mini-album 'Last Night' could comfortably see them sharing scene-space with a whole crop of Nu-Gazing (Shoegazing Revival) bands springing up in satellite towns nationwide. Whilst the nu-gazing tag isn't inaccurate, Candy themselves add a healthy dollop of Jesus & Mary Chain saturated-fuzz into the melting pot just for good measure (particularly on the suitably-named 'Drips Like Honey'). All in all - an appealingly-gloomy blend of lo-fi, scuzz and drone.
